4/16/20 VIRTUAL TELEMEDICINE VISITS:
PPA is very excited to announce that we will now be scheduling “Telemedicine” visits through doxy.me. This virtual visit will include audio and video capability for issues that are deemed as non-emergent by our nurses and clinicians. If you are interested in a virtual visit for your child, please call 215-257-2727 for Sellersville and 215-256-1999 for Harleysville to be connected to our triage nurse. Our nurse will determine whether or not your child’s ailment can be scheduled as a virtual “telemedicine” visit or if your child requires a face-to-face visit in our offices. Thank you and we hope that all of you are continuing to stay safe and well!

3/26/20 TELEHEALTH: We are happy to announce that Pennridge Pediatrics will be offering Telehealth services when appropriate due to the Covid 19 health emergency.  Due to the global pandemic, the CDC and the PA Health Department have recommended that physicians utilize telehealth options to communicate with patients to offer medical advice in lieu of select office visits.  PPA will conduct telephone consultations with patients in certain instances when an office visit is not deemed necessary by our staff. Calls into our nurse triage lines via our voice mail prompts may be forwarded to a clinician for a telehealth phone visit.  Please be advised that any prolonged telephone conversation may be billed to commercial insurance companies and Medicaid during this pandemic as most of the insurers have approved these services for reimbursement for a limited time period. Please note, a copay may apply. If you have any billing questions or concerns, please feel free to call 215-257-2727 and ask to speak to our Insurance/Billing departments.  PPA's commitment to your families' health remains constant during this emergency situation.  Thank you for your continued trust in PPA and stay healthy and well!!

3/23/20  COVID19 ANNOUNCEMENT:  At Pennridge Pediatrics, the health and safety of our patients, employees and our local communities are paramount during this Covid19 health emergency.  We are closely monitoring all directives/guidance from the CDC to make sure we are complying fully to mitigate the spread of this virus.  Effective immediately, we have instituted the following protocol regarding all appointments scheduled in our offices.  Parking lot check in is now in effect for all visits. All parents and patients entering our offices must wear a mask.  Please use a scarf or t-shirt to comply if you do not have a standard mask.  Upon arrival in our parking lots, please call the main number 215-257-2727, Sellersville, or 215-256-1999, Harleysville, to announce your arrival.  Our front desk staff will instruct you to come in immediately or will call you back once a fully sanitized room is ready for you and your child. In addition, we have restructured our patient schedule as follows:  Sick patients will be seen during the morning shifts and Well patients will be seen during the afternoon shifts.  While we already have delegated Sick and Well waiting rooms, we have taken this extra step to keep well and sick patients completely separated during this health issue. The doctors and staff at PPA remain committed to providing the superior service you have always expected for your sick or well child.  Please feel free to call our office with any concerns or questions.  Also, please remember that you can always speak with one of our clinicians 7 days a week/365 days a year from 8-9 AM during our “Physician Phone-In Hour”.  Thank you for your continued trust in Pennridge Pediatrics and stay well!
