8/15/22: We are sad to announce that Dr. Rama Subramanian will be leaving PPA. Her last day is 8/18. The following is a message from Dr. Rama to our PPA patients: "Nearly five years ago, I was privileged to join the medical team at Pennridge Pediatric Associates. Over the past years, I have been able to care for the children in this community, see them grow, and build relationships with the families that come to PPA. However, I am sad to announce that I will be leaving PPA at the end of August. The major factors contributing to my decision to leave were to be closer to family and for the opportunity for my spouse to further his career. This has been a very difficult decision, since I have truly loved being your child’s pediatrician. I know I will miss not only the patients and families at PPA, but also my wonderful colleagues and the staff at PPA. Thank you for letting me be a part of your family's lives. I have sincerely enjoyed serving you."
8/1/22: Danielle Lee, MD officially starts as our new pediatrician at PPA today! Please join the doctors and staff at PPA in welcoming Dr. Lee to our Sellersville and Harleysville offices. You can read Dr. Lee's biography on the "ABOUT US" page.
7/20/22 PPA MASK POLICY: Our masking policy now requires all parents and patients on the sick side only to wear masks. Masks are now optional for families who are not sick and are coming in for well checks. PPA reserves the right to change or modify this policy according to the community spread of Covid 19 or as recommended by the CDC or the PA Department of Health. We appreciate your respectful cooperation with our Mask Policy.
9/6/22 NEW PFIZER BIVALENT COVID VACCINE: PPA has received the new Pfizer bivalent Covid vaccine for ages 12 and up designed to target both the original Covid strain and the Omicron variants. Please call to schedule your appointment today and call our Nurse Triage line with any questions. 6/21/22 PFIZER COVID-19 VACCINE NOW AVAILABLE AT PPA. PPA has been granted approval from the PA Department of Health to dispense the Pfizer vaccine for patients 6 months and up in both the Sellersville and Harleysville offices. PPA recommends Covid-19 vaccination for all children and adolescents 6 months of age and older who do not have contraindications in accordance with the recommendations from the AAP and CDC. If you have specific questions in this regard relating to your child, please call one of our offices to speak with our clinicians or nurses. Please call to make your child's appointment today!
1/1/2021 The CARES act requires that providers post their cash price for COVID-19 testing. PPA'S cash price for rapid COVID-19 testing is $60 which must be paid at the time of service. Please note, this is only for the COVID-19 rapid test. Other tests and screenings may be ordered and provided at the same time of service, which will affect the total bill for this service and may require payment of other out-of-pocket costs (for example, office visit copays). PCR Covid-19 testing, when determined as required by the clinician, will be sent out to commercial labs and billed to insurance.
